Selling More Cars

Motive Retail’s business, dealer systems integration, is fundamentally technical and exacting. When working to implement complex, technical integrations it is easy to forget that, at the end of the day, all of our efforts are only worthwhile if our customers are selling more cars. In one way or another, directly or indirectly, all dealer systems integrations are intended to sell more cars.

All of Motive’s customers have grown their sales numbers over the last few years, but we would like to give a special shout-out to Ford’s Export Operations & Global Growth Initiatives group (now known simply as Emerging Market Services or EMS. “EMS”, one of Motive’s earliest customers, is often overshadowed, even within Ford, by its much larger counterparts in the Americas and Europe. The fact is that Export produces hundreds of millions in annual revenue selling in some of the most challenging markets in the world. It was gratifying to see some recognition by the investment community in the success this hard-working team has produced. Congrats, EMS!
